Dear Sharper Image Customers, I developed Exercise Your Eyes (E.Y.E.) Total Vision Workout System® largely because of my own vision experience. As a young man, I suffered from significant problems with reading in school. But since my eyesight was 20/20, my doctor always said that there was nothing wrong with my eyes. However, after entering college, my eyesight deteriorated very quickly due to the large amount of reading that was required of me. Immediately, I was put into glasses. Unfortunately, after wearing them for just a short period of time, my eyesight worsened, causing me to need a stronger prescription. During my third year of optometry school, an eye doctor recommended that I begin doing some simple vision exercises because my eyes were not working together well. Within two months, my lifelong reading problem disappeared and I went from being an average student to making the dean's list. Exercising my eyes not only changed my visual performance and learning ability, but also dramatically affected my entire way of seeing the world. I was very moved by these experiences, and by the thousands of times that I saw similar things happening with my patients. For the past 30 years, I've had a dream of bringing new vision to the world. Exercise Your Eyes Total Vision Workout System is the result of that dream, designed with your success in mind. Exercising my eyes changed my life and I'm sure it's going to help change yours. From reading and learning, to how well we perform on the job, on the playing field and in our everyday life, how we "see" holds the key. But don't take my word for it. Exercise your eyes...and see!
